19-Year-Old Sexually Assaults Shopper At Long Island Target, Police Say

A 19-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Long Island Target.

Suffolk County Police said a 72-year-old woman contacted the agency saying a man had forcibly touched her in a sexual manner while she was shopping at the Commack Target on Nov. 18, 2023.

On Saturday, Feb. 3, police arrested Michael Harrison, of Huntington Station, in connection with the case.

He was charged with one count of forcible touching, a misdemeanor, and was released with an appearance ticket to First District Court in Central Islip.

Detectives are asking anyone who may be a victim of Harrison to contact the Suffolk County Police Department at 631-854-8452.
